Earlier this year, I mistakenly sent money to the wrong UPI ID while transferring funds from the UAE to India via a banking partner. The money was credited to an unintended recipient's account in Federal Bank due to a spelling error. Unfortunately, the partner bank in the UAE informed me that the transaction was successful and irreversible from their side. In this difficult situation, I reached out to Mr. Harikrishnan, Branch Manager at Federal Bank, Adoor, and his support was exceptional. He immediately took action, contacted the recipient, and obtained a debit consent. Thanks to his timely intervention and continuous assistance, the funds were returned to the UAE partner bank after three months due to multiple follow-ups with the partner bank. I'm truly grateful to Mr. Harikrishnan and the Federal Bank team for their help in resolving this issue. Their professionalism and customer focus are commendable. Thank you once again!
